Evaluate, source and negotiate strategic partnerships with vendors and suppliers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Source, negotiate and price raw materials, MRO, components, assemblies and special processes
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
* Work closely with Management on cost initatives
* Create and build on supply chain effort
* Provide hands on leadership
Preferred qualifications:
* 4 yr. degree
* Related purchasing experience from a manufacturing environment
* Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics and procurement
* Strong desire to lead by example with proven track-record of results
* Effective at multitasking, accomplishment driven
* CPM a plus
